The interview test is over! It was first come first serve. I got there 20 minutes early and was the 2nd examinee in line. I checked in, turned off my smartphone, put it in a bag provided by the staff, and hung it around my neck. I guess to prohibit recording. I have never hung my phone from my neck, so it felt heavy and it was very annoying.Continue reading →
When I travel for many days to countries where the cost of living is high, I often think ‘how do I enjoy as much as possible while saving money.’ Anyway, I prefer this kind of travel over extravagant trips. This time, although I went to Japan Alps Art Festival 2017 as a visitor, I didn’t buy a passport (2,500yen). But I enjoyed myself mainly viewing free art exhibits for the whole day. This is my best kind of day. 🙂
Note: Honestly, I almost copied and pasted all of each art exhibit explanation from the official page. Because I often don’t completely understand even if I read the explanation of what the art is. 😅 But I like art, unique and cool things…
The day came to find out my test result on a website. It was scheduled for 3 pm. Although I had been waiting since the day after taking the test, I didn’t have the courage to look at my result. So, I was thinking of covering the laptop screen with a thin white piece of paper or covering my eyes with my hands when I open the website. I will see it a little and I can be ready to accept reality gradually. Am I a coward?
In Japan, there are some art festivals, for example, Art Setouchi (Triennale) and Echigo Tsumari Art Field. I like going to them, so I’ve been to both several times. Now, Japan Alps Art Festival 2017is being held from June 4th to July 31st at Omachi in Japan. There are about 30 pieces of art in this festival. The pieces of art vary widely, some are inside and some outside, and are from small to huge. Visitors can buy a passport, which allows them to see all the art, for 2500 yen, but they can also see some of the art for free.
Lately, I sometimes negotiate with my teacher. Because my teacher was busy andour classes were not as frequent as usual. One day he completely forgot a class, being so tired. It was the first time, though. But he needed to give me five free classes. After that, my teacher frequently canceled English classes. Finally, my teacher said….
“I’d like to apologize for my flakiness and for being untrustworthy last week. My excuse is that I was very busy, but things should be back to normal now.” Me: “And?”😐 My teacher: 😱”How many free classes do you want?”
