The result was not very good. But I passed! 😀 Report in detail of my result = total 26/33 points Reading: 4/5 Q & A: 20/25 Attitude: 2/3 My Q and A result was not bad but the attitude score was not good. I had thought if examinees answered something naturally and with a smile, the examiner would give a perfect score for attitude in the 2nd grade interview. Although maybe I was nervous, I think tried to tell the examiner the answer with a smile even if I couldn’t speak fluently. My face looked strained? 😬
The English class after the interview test, my teacher and I celebrated my passing of the 1st test. I prepared a margarita, beer and nuts. As the day was hot, I put some ice in the margarita. My teacher brought a beer, but the beer had 8.4% alcohol. I said, “This class was Breiko~!”
The interview test is over! It was first come first serve. I got there 20 minutes early and was the 2nd examinee in line. I checked in, turned off my smartphone, put it in a bag provided by the staff, and hung it around my neck. I guess to prohibit recording. I have never hung my phone from my neck, so it felt heavy and it was very annoying.Continue reading →
The day came to find out my test result on a website. It was scheduled for 3 pm. Although I had been waiting since the day after taking the test, I didn’t have the courage to look at my result. So, I was thinking of covering the laptop screen with a thin white piece of paper or covering my eyes with my hands when I open the website. I will see it a little and I can be ready to accept reality gradually. Am I a coward?
Lately, I sometimes negotiate with my teacher. Because my teacher was busy andour classes were not as frequent as usual. One day he completely forgot a class, being so tired. It was the first time, though. But he needed to give me five free classes. After that, my teacher frequently canceled English classes. Finally, my teacher said….
“I’d like to apologize for my flakiness and for being untrustworthy last week. My excuse is that I was very busy, but things should be back to normal now.” Me: “And?”😐 My teacher: 😱”How many free classes do you want?”
The test is over! It was exciting …… so I want to write about it.
But actually, I was moping around. I had thought I don’t want to study English anymore.
Lately, I didn’t write on this blog at all. I was studying for the English test, not very hard though… I could have studied harder.
After the test, I thought I would try to write about my feelings, as the days around the test were an emotional roller coaster. I’m embarrassed to write about my feelings, though… I want to learn many varieties of expressions in English.
Before the test I ate healthy meals and didn’t drink any alcohol. I thoughtI was in good shapeand was looking forward to taking the test the next day.
The day of English test My stomach was upsetbefore leaving for the test. A few minutes into the test, my right hand was shaking. “Stop!” I thought. So I changed to writing with my left hand.
Thank you for nominating my blog for this award, Niall O’Donnell! I’m very glad. … but … it seems like a big English assignment from Niall. 🤔 😱 😂
English-Language Thoughts byNiall O’Donnell is a great and interesting blog. This blog is about a lot of things related to the English language. While studying English, sometimes I revisit the same article a few times because it takes me a while to complete it, so I’m happy when it’s interesting! I’m using Niall’s blog as part of my English studies. If you interested in it, check it out! https://englishlanguagethoughts.com/
